Lincolne is an inspring young man from Kellyville who became a quadriplegic after a surfing accident in 2012. He treats his rehabilitation with grit and determination, has a warm greeting for everyone, and is a true miracle. We are proud of our association with Lincolne and he is an honorary member of our club and regularly attends meetings.
Our club, together with Rouse Hill Rotary, set up the Lincolne Innis Trust two years ago to help Lincolne with his ongoing medical expenses and rehabilitation costs. Lincolne visits us at our breakfast meetings when he can and we love seeing his smiley face!
Lincolne writes a regular column in Sydney Hills Living Magazine and is also an inspirational speaker for teens teaching them to be resilient in the face of adversity.
June 2016 – Lincolne was inducted as an Honorary member of our Rotary Club.
September 2017 – Lincolne completes City2Surf with Norwest Sunrise President, Jeremy Carter raising $2,485 for The Heart Foundation.
